ERA helped us with everything, from vital business connections to protecting our IP and from creating investor decks to raising funding. The support team is phenomenal and ERA substantially ups your odds for success.
ERA helped us get on the right track. We wouldn’t have been able to launch Bespoke Post so quickly without the guidance and pressure we received throughout the program. Additionally, the program helped us land the business development partnerships crucial to growing Bespoke Post.
Murat, Jon and Charlie are dedicated to the program. They gave us a great way to network into the NYC tech community–we got access to VCs and angel investors, which made it faster and easier than getting meetings on our own. We also made some great friends in a fun and collegial atmosphere.
The ERA program was everything we hoped it would be and a lot more. Every aspect of building and growing our company was truly accelerated during our time in the program. The relationships we formed with ERA leadership, other ERA companies, investors and mentors have all been hugely valuable to us long after we graduated from ERA.
For an international company operating in Brazil, ERA was critical to our entering the U.S. market. We were introduced to valuable business partners (from startups to Fortune 500) and seasoned entrepreneur mentors who we would have never otherwise met. Being based in NYC and participating in ERA's ecosystem was also a tremendous benefit for localizing sales strategy and attracting value-added early investors.
Without ERA, numberFire probably would not be around today. We got the cash infusion needed to hire a critical employee, the mentorship forced us to think about product/market fit in a sustainable way, and the introductions to probably every venture capitalist in New York were absolutely necessary in getting the round of financing that keeps us going!
Because the program provided us with the structure, focus and supporting framework of mentors, we were able to make real progress building our product. The venture capital we raised was the direct result of an introduction that the ERA team provided. And as more experienced entrepreneurs, having mentors who had been out in the real world was a serious plus.
ERA helped us fine-tune our messaging, become more strategic in our approach and dramatically grow our network. During the program, we felt like we could tackle anything, given the connections, great networking opportunities and vast experience of the group. Having other startups around let us brainstorm, connect and grow. Months after the program ended, the partners and mentors have continued to be great friends and supporters.
The ERA Program lives up to its name. We got an incredible framework to analyze key decisions and accelerate the execution of our conclusions. Helpful mentors and connections were always available—regardless of the topic. Charlie, Jon and Murat had their doors open to work through any scenario with us. Those intense four months have made me feel more confident than ever about growing our business and helped refine our message and mission.
It’s the ERA community and network of highly engaged mentors and partners that sets it apart. Through guidance and intros from the partners and mentors, we were able to raise a seed round and secure a deal with a Fortune 500 company in less than eight weeks. A year after completing the program, we’re still in frequent touch with our ERA family.
Going through ERA was a pivotal moment for our company, opening doors for us we could never have opened on our own. A great deal of our success we attribute to the people we met and things we learned through the program.
ERA was one of the best experiences admittedly could have had. It gave us tremendous access to investors, mentors, and industry experts whose guidance was invaluable along the way! Would highly recommend for all early stage startups.
ERA helped accelerate our visibility, access and credibility with customers, mentors and investors. We developed deep bonds with ERA mentors and the entrepreneurs in our cohort. We continue to be in touch with ERA company founders, which has been fantastic for input, advice and help. Lastly, the program keeps on giving—Jon, Murat and Charlie remain our trusted advisors on whom we rely for their perspectives, opinions and problem solving expertise.
Attending ERA was one of the best business decisions that we've made. ERA’s network of New York mentors, advisers and investors is unparalleled. We can attribute our fundraising success directly to the program for both teaching us about the process and connecting us with all of the right investors.
When we entered the program, we were a Texas startup looking to expand in new cities and take advantage of the vibrant NYC startup community. ERA has been invaluable to us on all counts, helping us turn our commercial real estate experience into a growing technology business.
The ERA community plays a critical role within the New York tech eco-system. Each success that has come our way--WSJ Start-up of the Year finalist, Advertising Week exhibitor, seed funding, team expansion--have all been possible because of the support and mentorship from the ERA partners, staff and mentors. Furthermore, we continue to benefit from our association with ERA as alumnae. We are so thankful to be a part of the ERA family.
We needed an accelerator; we wanted ERA. We got unlimited access to the partners and a tightly knit and supportive ecosystem. Through ERA, we met 75% of our seed investors and hired a late stage co-founder with 15+ years as a sales exec who had completed a successful acquisition. ERA introduced us to Inc., where I became a contributor, and Forbes, where we were nominated for “30-Under-30."
