Tawheed Kader (TK) of Tout - a new email management service - answered our questions on his new start-up:
Tout is a web-app that helps you template, track, schedule and organize your day-to-day repetitive emails.
Tout also has a mobile version, a bookmarklet, and a Chrome extension -- which helps you send your
repetitive emails in 4 clicks.
the same content but you have to keep sending it out to different people as you come across
them. Maybe you search for an old e-mail and copy or paste, or you have a Word Document
with all of your templates. Tout helps you get rid of the Copy and Paste by helping you create
actual e-mail templates, which you can use to send out e-mails quickly.
Tout also solves the problem around keeping track of your sent e-mails by giving you an outbox
view showing who you've e-mailed and and tracks your emails to see where it is in the process
-- it'll tell you if the e-mail was viewed, or if the link in the e-mail was clicked. It even helps you
track which e-mails were successful so you can A/B test your templates.
We follow the Fremium model. We have a Free version and have several paid tiers.

10 years to help people communicate better. He previously co-founded a
Telecommunications company (a family business), HipCal - a shared calendaring company
(which was sold to Plaxo), and has previously worked at Plaxo and Bridgewater.
