Nachi Das

 

Nachi Das is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets across the world. He is also an investor and entrepreneur with interests spanning technology, entertainment and healthcare. He has more than 20 years experience in various aspects of investment banking covering risk management, prime brokerage and proprietary investments. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers in New York and Tokyo where he managed various exposures to capital markets through several market cycles.

Prior to Lehman Brothers, Nachi was a management consultant with PWC in Europe and Asia. Before that, he was a telecom engineer in India where he developed India’s first indigenous digital telecom technologies.

Nachi has an MBA from International University of Japan and London Business School and holds a BS in Electronics Engineering from NIT, Trichy in India.

Currently, Nachi is active in capital markets and entrepreneurial ventures in New York and is keen to exploit exciting opportunities in technology, finance, healthcare and energy.

 

Neeraj Jhanji

 

Neeraj is the founder of ImaHima, a Tokyo-based company that invented the concept of micro-blogging and shared status updates between friends back in 1999. This pioneering technology is used by countless applications today. The ImaHima service won several international awards including the Prix Ars Electronica in 2001. It has been featured on Wired, CNN, BBC, Wall Street Journal and was granted several US patents.

Over the next few years, ImaHima launched several new online services for social networking and enterprise collaboration such as HabboHotel Japan, AOL Instant Messenger for iMode, PayMe konbini payment gateway and Atlassian Japan. ImaHima’s latest product is Colabolo, a light-weight issue-tracker for small teams that drastically cuts down on email clutter.

Neeraj started his career at the Tokyo branch of Accenture after completing his MBA program at the University of Hawaii; the sole recipient of the Fujitsu Asia-Pacific scholarship from India. He also holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Delhi. He is fluent in Hindi, Japanese and English and is learning Swedish.

Neeraj is keen to mentor and incubate young social entrepreneurs since he believes innovation is the heartbeat of human progress. In his free time, Neeraj is re-educating himself.

 

David Rakhit

 

David, who has been living and working in Japan for the past 21 years, received both his MBA and Masters in Engineering & Mathematics from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA, USA after a short stint at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT). David obtained his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. With his degree he has been working in both fields for over 20 years, employed by such companies as Unisys, Citibank, Reuters and Dow Jones Telerate. Within these companies, he has been exposed to multiple facets of the industry including Sales, Trade, Market Data, Technology, and Risk Management. David established Intersoft in Japan as its world headquarters ten years ago and has expanded to four other countries – India, Singapore, Taiwan and the US. David’s experience has brought strong contacts to increase Intersoft’s client base as well as the business skills necessary to sell Intersoft products and services. David speaks Japanese, English and a few Indian languages fluently.
